Buttock liposuction makes sense. Everyone wants firm and symmetrical buttocks. It is a minimally invasive procedure that suctions excess fat from the buttock area. We use several types of liposuction - vibration liposuction, water-jet liposuction, laser liposuction, or radiofrequency liposuction. All liposuction methods are invasive and remove fat from the target area.

Treatment Process
Buttock liposuction is performed under local anesthesia. The treated area is injected with special tumescent solution containing anesthetic for numbness and adrenaline to constrict blood vessels and reduce bleeding. Special fine liposuction cannulas connected to suction equipment remove excess fat. The anesthetic lasts up to 20 hours. Buttock liposuction takes about 2 hours. After the procedure, the patient puts on compression garments and goes home with post-operative instructions.

Different Liposuction Methods
Besides classic tumescent liposuction, the procedure can be performed using laser liposuction, where laser beams target fat cell breakdown, with better results. Laser liposuction also stimulates new collagen fiber formation, which is best for tightening loose skin and improving even contouring of the treated area without skin excess. It also eliminates swelling and bruising, reduces bleeding, and is less stressful on the body. Post-operative recovery time is also shorter.
A quality German 980nm wavelength liposuction laser is used for laser liposuction.
Vibration liposuction works on the principle of gentle vibration of liposuction cannulas covered with a dense network of tiny holes that very gently help suction fat tissue without damaging surrounding tissue. Vibration strength can be adjusted as needed. Cannula entry points are only covered with bandages. Vibration liposuction reduces skin irregularities that can occur after classic liposuction. Stress on the body is minimal.
Before the Procedure
Buttock liposuction is only suitable for healthy patients. We recommend stopping blood thinners and medications containing acetylsalicylic acid at least 2 weeks before the procedure. It's important to know it doesn't treat obesity or cellulite.
After the Procedure
Buttock liposuction is somewhat more demanding than other liposuction procedures but still effective. The treated area may show redness, swelling or bruising at injection sites, which disappear within days. Tumescent solution residue may leak from injection sites in the first 3 days, which is normal.
Showering is recommended after 24 hours. Compression garments must be worn 2-6 weeks except during personal hygiene. Healing ointment recommended by your doctor can be applied to wounds preventively. Increase fluid intake. We don't recommend tanning beds, sun exposure, saunas, pools or significant physical activity for about a month. We recommend rest for at least 7 days; light activities can resume after 2-4 days.
For classic buttock liposuction, prevent bumps and irregularities by using wooden rollers and gentle massage technique to smooth skin, 30 minutes daily for about 14 days. We also recommend moisturizing the treated area.
Following recommended post-operative instructions affects the final result. Results are visible after about 2 weeks, with final results after 2 months.
